Run With Erin
Erin Collier grew up on a working farm in Cooperstown, New York, the latest in a line of five generations of farmers to work the land of the 19th district. There, she learned the value of hard work, integrity, community, and helping others. Inspired by those values, she has worked to fight for access to healthcare in upstate New York, and to lift up communities that have felt abandoned and divided by cycles of economic barriers. From her experience working for the U.N. in Thailand to her experience under the Obama administration working as an agricultural economist, she has dedicated her entire life to helping people. She has traveled to and worked in over a dozen countries through a USAID project that helps the U.S. Government allocate resources to prevent food shortages around the world.
Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University, and later obtained her master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University. Having paid for her education almost entirely on her own through waitressing and student loans, she personally understands how hard it is to overcome the financial barriers of pursuing higher education and wants to work to change that.
Erin is running for Congress because we need a leader in Congress that will fight hard for this district every day, something our leaders in Washington have forgotten how to do. We need a leader that will fight to protect access to healthcare, fight for working families, and stand up to Donald Trump's agenda. Erin knows what it's like to fight hard to overcome challenges, and she doesn't back down. She is the only woman in the seven-candidate Democratic primary on June 26th, and her unique personal story and experience present an incredible opportunity to defeat John Faso and help win back the house.
Erin is running a grassroots campaign that's taking her all over the 19th district, but she needs your help to get the word out about her campaign.
We're working to win this seat so we can stand up to Donald Trump's agenda and fight for working families -- like closing the gender wage gap, protecting access to affordable healthcare, and making sure every kid gets a quality education, no matter where they live.
We need your help talking to voters, collecting petitions to get Erin on the ballot, engaging on social media, and helping us spread the word about why Erin is the best choice for NY-19.
If you agree that women should make up more than 20% of Congress and want a leader who will fight for everyone, not just the wealthy and the Washington insiders, sign up here and a member of our team will be in touch about how you can help Erin win in June.
